Happy Cactus Monday....crazy last blooms!

The last hurrah!

This Trichocereus Pachonoi 'San Pedro' has bloomed on and off all summer. Then for over a month or so no blooms at all. All it had was fuzzy bumps where the blooms would be. Then before I knew it almost all the rest of the fuzzy bumps began to produce buds. Then on my birthday on September 26th they all bloomed. But of course I woke up pretty late and the blooms were already starting to droop. It is a night bloomer. Wish I had realized it was blooming or I would have been out with my flashlight! LOL

Happy Cactus Monday everyone! And by the way did you get a chance to peek at my previous post?

Happy belated birthday.'San Pedro' in bloom would be worth lurking around outside in the dark with a flashlight. So, so different from anything I see around here in zone 4.

Forgot to say in my earlier comment, "Thanks for visiting Phillip's blog. Sweet of you, but then we know you're Sweetstuff."

Wow!! I have a San Pedro, but it hasn't bloomed yet. It's not nearly the size of yours which is completely impressive! Of course, if it was that size, I'd have a hard time hauling it in for the winter. HCM!

Donna..You have no idea how many times I have lurked around in the dark taking pictures of this cactus. LOL

Claude...Thanks a lot and yes they do!

Donna...You are so welcome. I think it is so sweet that he has a blog.

Red...I will have to look where you live. It may not get big enough in a container to bloom. I think mine got about 5 ft tall with some small pups before it bloomed the first time.
